The Innovation in Teaching Fellowship is a ten-month learning experience for teachers interested in implementing next-generation learning models in their classrooms. As a project manager, I collaborated with the project team to plan and execute the new learning sessions, promote collaboration among fellows and pathway leaders, and build systems to ensure the goals of the project were monitored and met, all this while seamlessly building relationships with the fellows and setting them up for success. At the end of our fellowship, our team had to plan and coordinate the showcase event which is designed to recognize all Dallas ISD's Innovation in Teaching, School Retool, and iDesign Central Fellowships through panels and an exhibition for attendees to explore their design projects. |

As manager of the campus' New Teacher Academy, I was responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of professional development and support programs for new teachers on campus. My responsibilities included developing and implementing training programs, designating mentors for all new teachers, facilitating collaboration between new teachers, evaluating the effectiveness of the program, and collaborating with the leadership team to ensure that the new teacher program aligns with the broader goals of the organization. |

As part of the new approaches in education during the pandemic, I created an educational TikTok channel with content directed to educators on technology and teaching tips that could provide novel skills and relevant strategies to enhance teachers' skillsets to better serve the needs of learners during this unprecedented time. |
