My Journey
I started my career in education in 2011 in Monterrey, Mexico as a technology teacher. In 2015, me and my family moved to Dallas, Texas where I taught bilingual kindergarten and first grade, as well as led dance and Folklorico after-school initiatives in my campus.
As a lower-grades advocate, I have always incorporated technology and innovation into my instruction, leveraging blended and personalized learning models. When the pandemic hit education in 2020 I began collaborating with the leadership team on campus to design and facilitate professional development opportunities that would equip educators with the necessary tools to adapt their instruction and with this, help close the educational gap their learners might encounter. Due to these contributions, I was appointed as campus teacher of the year in 2020.

Outside of work, I love watching movies with my family, listening to music, reading books, webtoons and Japanese manga, and growing my social media knowledge.
